A new study published in the January 2012 Annals of Internal Medicine shows that chiropractic adjustments were superior to pain medication at relieving neck pain. Exercise came in second, after chiropractic adjustments, but also ahead of pain medication. The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) press release can be found here.

The doctors and staff at Uptown Natural Care Center want to congratulate Dr. Jenna Boren on her finish at the 2012 US Olympic Marathon trials on January 14th. Jenna ran the marathon in 2:40:45. While this didn't quailfy for the Olympic team (only the top 3 finishers did), it proved once again that Jenna is one of the top runners in the entire country! Way to go Jenna!
Dr. Conway and Dr. Adam would like to wish Dr. Jenna the best of luck in her upcoming race on Saturday, January 14th. Dr. Jenna is participating in the 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials! The race will be televised on NBC from 2-4pm. Join us in congratulating Jenna on all her success and wish her well in the race!
